Richard and Delbert Blackhorse are from the Crow
Springs area in Utah on the Navajo Reservation. Both are members of the
Native American Church. Being honored with the Nomination for Best Traditional
Recording for their first Album"Dineh Prayer Songs", Richard and Delbert
continue to share their prayers and thoughts through Song. They would
like to especially thank N.A.C. members and all people who have shown
support in a very kind and encouraging way. They also would like to motivate
the children to learn these traditional ways and songs. Having been taught
and inspired themselves by their family, both brothers present 24 original
songs accompanied by Gourdrattle and Waterdrum. With the beginning of
the new Millennium they hope that the traditionel way of life may continue
and that all people keep their Faith and Love for one another. |
